Eden Sound ("we", "our", "the app") is a contemplative prayer application published by Nostalgia Collective LLC. We want to be plain and honest about what the app collects, why, and what your choices are. There are no accounts and no sign-in — but the app does use a small set of services to understand usage, fix crashes, and manage subscriptions, and this page describes them.
Usage analytics (PostHog). The app sends anonymous usage events to PostHog — things like which features you use and, during onboarding, the answers you choose (your prayer theme, how often you'd like to pray, what gets in the way, and your reflections on feeling near to God). These events are keyed to a random identifier generated on your device when you first install the app. We never collect your name or email, and the display name you choose in the app is deliberately never sent to analytics.
Crash and error reports (Sentry). If the app crashes or hits an error, a report is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. These reports include your IP address, device information (such as model and OS version), and a session replay of what was on screen — replays are captured for about 10% of sessions, and always when an error occurs.
Subscription information (RevenueCat). If you subscribe, RevenueCat processes your Apple receipt information (plan, trial state, renewal status) so the app knows you're a member. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — your card details never reach us or RevenueCat.
Data stored on your device. Your preferences, listening progress, and any downloaded audio are stored locally on your device. Audio is streamed from our servers (audio.edensound.app) and may be cached on your device for performance.
Delete My Data. The app includes a "Delete My Data" option in Settings. It erases the app's local data on your device (preferences, progress, downloaded and cached audio), resets the random analytics identifier so future events aren't connected to the old one, clears the crash-reporting user context, and restarts the app to a fresh-install state. It does not cancel your subscription — that's managed by Apple, and an active subscription is re-detected automatically.
Subscription management. Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID. You can view, change, or cancel them anytime in your App Store account settings.
The services above each have their own privacy policies: PostHog, Sentry, and RevenueCat.
Eden Sound does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is suitable for all ages and contains no objectionable content.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
