Eden Sound is a contemplative Christian prayer app built by Nostalgia Collective LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, what we don't collect, and how we handle your experience in the app.
The short version: Eden Sound does not require an account. We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising, or track you across apps. The only data we collect is what we need to run the app and improve it, described in detail below.
Information We Do Not Collect
Eden Sound does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, health data, contacts, photos, location, or device identifiers used for advertising.
We do not use third-party advertising networks. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data to anyone.
What We Do Collect
To run the app and improve it, Eden Sound collects a small amount of data through two third-party services:
Anonymous product-interaction events (PostHog), for example, when the paywall is viewed or a subscription is started. Each install is tagged with an anonymous identifier; we do not connect these events to any personal information about you.
Subscription status (RevenueCat, via Apple), when you purchase or cancel a subscription, Apple sends RevenueCat the transaction event so the app can unlock or relock premium features for the right Apple ID.
Both of these are described in more detail below.
Information Stored on Your Device
Eden Sound stores your preferences, such as your chosen notification time and session settings, locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
If you delete the app, all locally stored preferences are removed.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Eden Sound offers an optional premium subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.
Purchase history is managed through your Apple ID. For questions about billing, refunds, or subscription management, please visit your Apple ID account settings.
Third-Party Services
Eden Sound uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction data provided by Apple and does not collect personal information from users. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how Eden Sound is used, so we can improve the experience over time. PostHog records anonymous product-interaction events (for example, which screens are opened and when a subscription is started). Each install is assigned an anonymous identifier; we do not link these events to your name, email, or any contact information. PostHog does not use this data for advertising. For details, see PostHog's Privacy Policy.
We also receive Apple's built-in App Store Connect analytics, which Apple provides to us as aggregate, anonymised summaries.
Audio Content
Eden Sound's audio content is streamed from our servers and may be cached locally on your device for performance. No audio is recorded from your device at any time.
Children's Privacy
Eden Sound is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, there are no special provisions required for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children or anyone else.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Eden Sound after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Eden Sound mobile application ("the app"), published by Nostalgia Collective LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using Eden Sound, you agree to these Terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Eden Sound on Apple devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Subscriptions
Eden Sound offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features including background audio playback, the full prayer and scripture library, journeys, sleep and wake-up guides, and offline downloads.
Eden Premium (Monthly), $9.99 USD per month, automatically renewing each month.
Eden Premium (Annual), $69.99 USD per year, automatically renewing each year. Includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Prices in other currencies and regions are set by Apple's pricing matrix and may differ. Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID Account Settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
If you start the 7-day free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time during the trial in your Apple ID Account Settings to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription at the price listed above.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
Content and Use
Eden Sound is a contemplative prayer and meditation app rooted in the Christian tradition. The audio, text, and visual content available in the app are licensed to you for personal devotional use only. You may not redistribute, rebroadcast, resell, or repurpose any content from Eden Sound without our prior written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app; (b) use the app in any unlawful manner; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or our servers; or (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app.
Disclaimer
Eden Sound is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app or its content. Eden Sound is intended to support personal prayer and reflection; it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, pastoral, or spiritual counsel.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nostalgia Collective LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Eden Sound.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For the deepest experience, yes. Eden's music is carefully layered and tuned to settle your body and quiet your mind, and that effect is sharpest through headphones. But the app works beautifully without them too.
Is Eden Sound free?
The core experience is free: the full Sound Pad with all four spaces, the complete music library, all four breathing patterns, the soundscape library, and a daily Scripture & prayer rotation. Premium adds the Guided Journeys (anxiety, grief, doubt, and more), Sleep mode, the Wake Up routine, the full Scripture & prayer voice library, background audio with the screen locked, and offline access anywhere. Premium is $69.99/year (with a 7-day free trial) or $9.99/month.
Does audio play in the background?
Background audio playback is a premium feature. With a subscription, Eden Sound continues playing when your screen is locked, so you can close your eyes and rest in God's presence without interruption. Free users can enjoy the full experience while the app is open.
Is the music the same every time?
No, and that's by design. The music in Eden Sound is adaptive, meaning the pieces are carefully composed and then layered in ways that never repeat. It's never a loop. Every time you open it, it feels fresh, living, and present, like the sound itself is breathing alongside you.
Is this a Christian app?
Yes. Eden Sound is built for Christians who want to experience God's presence more deeply. The four postures, Be Still, Scripture, Prayer, and Worship, reflect the ways we were designed to connect with Him, drawn from the Great Commandment. There are no Eastern meditation techniques, no chakras, no emptying of the mind. Eden is about being filled with God, the way it was in the garden.
